| 蜜 Birthday: 18/09 Bloodtype: A Age: 17 File: Mitsu at the age of 9, was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder or ADD as it is more commonly known. This is thought to be the root of a lot of his problems while growing up. As a disruptive child in class, Mitsu was often shunned by his teachers, too difficult to teach, and left to his own devices. This only served to frustrate the youngster further. He is intelligent, as most children who suffer from ADD or ADHD are, and the lack of attention and help in class simply added to the stress. Moved over 3 different schools before the age of 14, Mitsu eventually became over emotional, responding to pressure with anger and distress at a level which was innapropriate for the given time. With a father who was never home, and a mother who was finding it harder and harder to manage, the teenager fell into depression and self harm as a means to cope, and gradually self harm became a necessity, even a pleasure. Eventually he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder when he hit 15 after an angry outburst, and several broken fingers. He began responding slowly to anti-depressants, mood stabilizers, a twice weekly visit to a therapist, and a monthly visit to a psychiatric ward, soon calming down to a more acceptable level. What triggered his admittance to Bakuzen however, was the summer before Mitsu was to start a litrature course at the college close to his home. A panic attack, a black eye, and slashed arms made his mother realise she could no longer cope on her own, no matter the ammount of medication Mitsu was placed on, and she had her son admitted at the age of 17. He was driving her to hate him. The percieved abandonment, unfamillar surroundings, and cell like room set the teenager back several steps when he arrived, but after befriending Hikaru, one of the nurses, things became a little more settled. However, recent events, his parents divorce, and his mothers disowning of him, have pushed the teen back into his previous depression, and things aren't looking too bright. |
